Our kilt pin charm is a perfect keepsake and comes with a card poem with a heartfelt, handwritten, poem AND a separate sixpence should the bride wish, as tradition states, to wear the silver sixpence in her shoe.

The poem reads:

Our little girl is all grown up, a new chapter in your life,
time changes and moves forward and you’ll now become a wife.

Card

Cards are 6″ x 6″ in size and printed on white premium linen 300gms card and provided with either a white or kraft envelope and in a clear wallet.

The cards have ‘Love You’ printed on the inside.

The significance of each charm is:

Bride – Bride to be

Chimney Sweep – It is considered ‘Good Luck’ to see a chimney sweep on the way to being married.

Something Blue – The little Guardian Angel is the ‘Something Blue’ again, part of the traditional rhyme, Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence for your shoe. The silver sixpence is provided separately should the bride wish to place it into her shoe.

Chalice – May your cup always runneth over meaning may you always have plenty in your life.

Heart – I love you to the moon and back, expressing love from the sender(s).

Charms and Gift Box

The charms are a mix of silver-plated and antique silver with white and blue pearl beads on a silver-plated kilt pin. They are provided in a gift box which can, if required, be engraved onto a small aluminium plaque that is attached to the lid to show a message from the parent(s) or the bride’s name plus her partner and wedding date. If you do not wish to have the gift box the kilt pin is provided in a white organza bag.
